The International Game Fish Association wants you to become an:

Official IGFA Weigh Station

Benefits to you as an Official IGFA Weigh Station:

1. Listing on the IGFA website as an Official IGFA Weigh Station
2. Listing in the IGFA World Record Game Fishes book distributed to over 130 countries and territories
3. Publicity to generate traffic to your business
4. Continously updated information from IGFA on world records, junior world records, fly records, and state freshwater line class records line class records in all 50 states.
5. IGFA will supply: IGFA membership brochures; IGFA world and junior angler record application forms; IGFA rule book list of all line class record species; information on nearly 10,000 current records; 10 Pound Bass Club applications, 25 Pound Snook Club, Grand Slam Clubs, and Release club Application forms.
6. Decals indentifying your business as an Official IGFA Weigh Station.
7. Annual memberships in IGFA and the IGFA Junior Angler Club, including the 384-page book of World Record Game Fishes and 10 newsletters (six International Anglers newsletters and four International Junior Angler newsletters) per year with record updates.
8. Free testing and annual certification of the official scale used in your business. (Maximum scale weight that can be certified by IGFA is 100 pounds.)

Note: Your scales may also be certified by a state or other agency in lieu of IGFA

In order to qualify as an Official IGFA Weigh Station you must mantain an accurate scale on the premises that is certified annually.
