IGFA's camp programs are accredited by the American Camp Association. The American Camp Association is the only national accrediting body for camps of all types. Their accreditation standards focus on health, safety, and risk management, and are used as benchmarks by government entities. Accreditation provides public evidence of a camp’s commitment to the well-being of campers and staff.

IGFA Spring Camp

IGFA will be offering a week-long Spring camp adventure for boys and girls ages 7-12 years. Campers will learn basic fishing techniques, conservation, marine biology, jig tying, and participate in fun fishing games and activities. Field trips will take campers to fresh and saltwater adventures, fishing at the IGFA Headquarters, from the shore, on a pier, and on a charter boat. Campers will have a chance to catch fish like largemouth bass, peacock bass, Mayan cichlids, bluegill, snappers, groupers, barracudas, grunts, and much more!

Each child will receive an IGFA camp t-shirt, a 1-year membership as an IGFA Youth Member, goodie bag, a free tackle box and rod and reel combo courtesy of Fish Florida that they will use throughout the week and take home with them on Friday!

The safety of our staff and campers is paramount so the IGFA is dedicated to providing the safest and highest quality outdoor, educational fishing experience for our campers, which means taking health and safety guidelines very seriously. The IGFA has developed a comprehensive plan, per CDC guidelines, to help prevent the risk of spread of COVID-19 amongst campers.
