Exploring your watery world!

Did you know that there are over 30,000 fish species? Of these species, about 2/3 of them can be found in our world's oceans. With so many types of fish in so many bodies of water, they are bound to have some very cool and interesting facts about them. Some deep sea fish, like the anglerfish, have developed ingenious ways to lure other smaller, unsuspecting fish closer to them so they can pounce on an easy meal. Other fish have developed specialized scales, and other body parts to help them better adapt to their environment. Some fish can even breathe air by sticking their heads out of water and taking big gulps of oxygen just like humans. Even still, the world of fishing is so much bigger than just the fish themselves. The different habitats and locations that fish live in can be extremely fascinating places that have way more to offer than what you see on the surface. In this section, you can find out about all different types of fish, habitats and also how to fish for these amazing fish. So click through the pages below and explore what the angling world has to offer.
