2018 IGFA Industry Conservation Award - Patagonia

Patagonia’s Mission Statement is to build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, and use business to inspire and implement solutions to environmental problems.  The company's products are made of materials with a small ecological footprint such as hemp and organic cotton and recycled polyester, nylon and wool.  Since 1972, through its membership in 1% For The Planet, Patagonia has donated more than $74 million in cash to thousands of community-based groups working to change the planet for the better --starting in their own backyards. Patagonia's Jay Decker (seen in photo) accepts the award.
