Drop-off and Pickup Procedure
Please review the attached “Camp Drop Off-Pick Up Procedure” document prior to camp.
Your child will get their temperature checked daily by an IGFA staff member. If their temperature is 99.3° F or higher, they will be sent home.
DO NOT bring your child(ren) to the IGFA camp if they are sick.
Campers must bring their own lunch (that does not need refrigeration or heating), EXTRA snacks and EXTRA drinks are necessary. Please provide your child with MULTIPLE drinks. To reduce surface contacts, the IGFA will not allow bottles to be refilled at a water fountain or from IGFA water jugs. The IGFA will have a limited supply of bottled water to hand out if a child runs out of drinks. But please remember, we are an active camp that is primarily done outdoors, so it’s better to pack more than you think your child will need than less.
Campers should wear casual dress: T-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, hat, and facial covering. Please pack sunscreen for your child and a light jacket and poncho are suggested. We will still fish in the rain as long as the weather conditions remain safe. Campers are required to wear a face covering daily. Failure to do so may risk the camper being removed from camp.
What not to Bring
A backpack may be brought with the items mentioned above. However, fishing equipment, toys, video games, or anything else that would distract the camp are not permitted. IGFA will supply all fishing tackle and bait for the day. Campers are permitted to bring cell phones for emergency use only. However, campers will not be permitted to use cell phones during camp hours without permission from a counselor. IGFA counselors reserve the right to take away any item that becomes disruptive.
IGFA is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
If your child(ren) cannot attend the IGFA Fishing Day Camp, please email [email protected] as soon as possible. DO NOT bring your child(ren) to the IGFA camp if they are sick. If the program is cancelled by IGFA, a full refund will be given. If your child cannot follow the “COVID Enhanced Health & Safety Measures”, they can be removed from camp. No refunds will be issued if your child is removed from camp
