Payments for camp sessions are due upon registration in full. No refunds or credits will be given for missed days.

Before and Aftercare:

FREE before care is available from 8:00am to 9:00am. Camp ends at 4:00pm. Aftercare is available from 4pm-6pm for $20.00 per hour per child. Payments for aftercare are due DAILY.


Cancellations made at least 10 business days prior to the camp session will be charged a $60 processing fee. Cancellations made 2-9 business days prior to the camp week will be charged a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be processed with only a 1 business day cancellation notice. If the program is cancelled by IGFA, a full refund will be given. No exceptions.

Parking, Signing your Child in and out of Camp:

Please park in the IGFA parking lot on the west side, adjacent to the Marriott Hotel and come in through the courtyard. Follow the signs for the camp entrance. The south entrance next to the swordfish sculpture/fountain is a closed entrance. You must come in to sign your child in and out daily. Please do not drop off children without signing them in.

Camp Hours:

 Camp hours are from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:30-4:00pm on Fridays (hours differ for some field trip days).

Contacting Camp Staff:

To reach Education Staff from 9:00am to 3:00pm, please call Sheriffa Robinson at (954) 924-4346. If calling after 3:00pm, please leave a detailed message. If your child is currently attending a camp week, you can speak to a camp counselor during camp hours by calling the education camp cell phone at (954) 850-2820. This phone is ONLY activated during camp hours from 8:00am-6:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00am-6:00pm Fridays. Please do not use this number to register your child for camp.

Dress Code:

Campers will receive one IGFA T- shirt on the first day of their camp session. Campers must wear an IGFA T- shirt DAILY. Additional shirts are available for $8.00 each. Campers can wear casual dress: IGFA T- shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, and hat. Sunscreen, a light jacket, and poncho are suggested. It is also a good idea to pack an extra pair of clothes, shoes, or sandals as we will still fish in the rain as long as the weather conditions remain safe.


Each camper must bring a bag lunch daily. Food will not be refrigerated or heated up so please pack a non-perishable lunch that will not spoil in the heat. Campers are NOT permitted to bring money to camp unless otherwise indicated. Please supply your camper with EXTRA snacks. REUSABLE WATER BOTTLES ARE A GOOD IDEA – WATER WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REFILLING EACH DAY.

What not to Bring:

 A backpack may be brought with the suggested items mentioned above. However, fishing equipment, cell phones, toys, video games, iPods, Ipads, or anything else that would distract the camp is not permitted. IGFA counselors reserve the right to take away any item that becomes disruptive. IGFA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
