IGFA Captain Nick LaBadie is a Florida native and has been fishing the flats and backcountry around Key West since 2012, spending most of his time exploring the surrounding area from Big Pine Key to the Marquesas Keys. He has developed and tailored techniques with countless hours guiding in the Florida Keys to give you the best experience possible. His accomplishments include guiding to the current IGFA Women's 2-kg (4-lb) Tippet Class World Record for permit; a 9-lb, 8-oz permit caught by Kat Vallilee. LaBadie also won as an angler the inaugural IGFA Permit Invitational with his friend Captain Brandon Cyr.
