Over the past three decades, Captain Steve Lassley has built one of the most impressive resumes in the history of sport fishing. Steve bought his first boat in 1974 at the age of 17 and has been making a living fishing ever since. Lassley was one of the first captains to operate out of Magdalena Bay, Mexico and explore its amazing fishery. He’s logged thousands of days fishing southern California and Mexico and also fishes Hawaii. Lassley has accrued the most tournament winnings in the history of the sport at the helm of team Bad Company. The experience he has gained from spending more than 7,000 documented days at sea has allowed him to become one of the industry’s leading innovators. Steve is a frequent contributor to fishing publications where he freely shares his experiences with others to give back to the sport that he loves.
