Newsholme's Inshore Grand Slam

On April 8, 2020, Florida Keys resident, Stephen Newsholme, completed his first IGFA Inshore Grand Slam. He landed this beautiful tarpon, permit and bonefish while fishing Cutoe and Howe Key. Congratulations, Stephen, on hopefully the first of many!

Herfel's Trout Royal Slam

Tyrone Herfel recently became the newest member of the IGFA Trout Royal Slam Club. Between August of 2016 and June of 2019, Ty caught all 7 required trout species to be eligible for the slam. He completed this feat over the course of three states including Colorado, California, and Oregon. All trout were caught on the fly except for his lake trout which was caught on conventional tackle.
