John Dailey's Inshore Grand Slam

John Dailey recently submitted this IGFA Inshore Grand Slam from a trip to Key West, Florida. He was fishing with Captain Brandon Cry when he was able to land this grand slam on the fly! When speaking about the experience Dailey wrote, “It was a pretty incredible day of fishing with Brandon.  He guided me to three permit, two bonefish, and a tarpon, all on fly”.  An Inshore Grand Slam is an impressive feat but accomplishing it on the fly is even more so. Congratulations John and Captain Cyr on a great accomplishment!

Mark Davis' Billfish Royal Slam

IGFA Trustee Mark Davis recently submitted his 18th IGFA Billfish Royal Slam application for catches made between 2008 and 2020, from all parts of the globe. Pictured are some of the fish that helped him accomplish this most recent milestone including Davis’ blue marlin from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, a black marlin from the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, his spearfish from Kona, Hawaii, and finally a swordfish caught while fishing with Captain Nick Stanczyk out of Islamorada, Florida. Congratulations Mark on another incredible Billfish Royal Slam!
