Russell's Two Inshore Super Grand Slams
Dodd Russell had a simply amazing trip to the beautiful flats of Mexico this past February. On February 6, 2023, Dodd landed a permit, Atlantic bonefish, Atlantic snook, and tarpon on fly to earn himself an IGFA Inshore Super Grand Slam. Russell then followed that slam up with his second IGFA Inshore Super Grand Slam three days later, on February 9, 2023. He landed the same four species all on fly. Congratulations, Dodd on both IGFA Inshore Super Grand Slams on fly in one week!
Baker's Trout Grand Slam
Christopher Baker took an early season trip to the West Fork of the Pigeon River, North Carolina, on March 13, 2023. On this day, Christopher landed an IGFA Trout Grand Slam on the fly. He started the day with a beautiful rainbow trout and followed that fish up with a nice brown. Later that same day he completed the slam with a brook trout. Congratulations, Christopher!
