Owens' Inshore Grand Slam
William Owens’ day of fishing the sunny shores of Astove Atoll, Seychelles, on February 12, 2025, was nothing short of astonishing. Fishing with guide Tyron Knight, William landed a Pacific bonefish, snubnose pompano, and giant trevally, an incredible feat that any angler would be jealous of. With this amazing day of fishing, William earned himself an IGFA Inshore Grand Slam.
Solari’s Inshore Grand Slam
On March 28, 2024, Marc J Solari completed an Inshore Grand Slam on Fly, an accomplishment that inshore anglers dream of achieving. Marc landed his Atlantic bonefish, permit, and tarpon on the flats of Jardines de le Reina, Cuba, with his guide Victor Koki Morales. Paired with the beautiful scenery, this will be a day that Marc won’t soon forget.
