The IGFA Education team just returned from a 5-day trip in Rocky Mountain National Park after being invited out to help with training interns and run a Passports to Fishing Clinic. The trip was a huge success, with 23 interns who are all taking part in the Environment for the Americas Fish and Feathers Internship, learned how to tie knots, unhook fish, cast, bait hooks, and identify fish properly. Following their day of learning and fine-tuning skills, they played a crucial role in the success of the fishing clinic which saw dozens of participants complete the Passports to Fishing Stations, even through a brief hail and rainstorm! The IGFA Education team looks forward to sharing more photos, videos, and stories from the trip in a Virtual Field Trip which will be coming out later this year under the Fishing the United States series!
