All sizes share the stiffness inherent in titanium and that is augmented by the unique over-sized Super Halo Hinge. This open hinge is also handy when tightening knots with a direct pull. Another very nice design feature is that the jaws are relatively narrow at the tip and this will allow you to reach places where bulkier jaws can not.
The 5.5 make a great light tackle plier for smaller hooks and less powerful quarry. The 6.5 is the most popular size. It is up to the task for most surf and inshore angling situations. The 7.5 is the big game plier in the line-up. Since they are skeletonized, they are lighter than the other similarly sized titanium options on the market, while retaining the stiffness and the nice jaw design.
