SHARKED Act Unanimously Passes U.S. House

The IGFA is pleased to announce the bipartisan Supporting the Health of Aquatic Systems through Research, Knowledge, and Enhanced Dialogue (SHARKED) Act was unanimously passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on Monday, February 5^th. This Act, if passed by the Senate and signed into law by President Biden, will establish a task force to better understand issues related to increased shark depredation in U.S. fisheries and explore opportunities for improving current conditions.
