IGFA Great Marlin Race sets records

The longest distance ever tracked by a satellite tag on a marlin was recorded for a tag deployed during the IGFA Great Marlin Race.  A marlin tagged in Puerto Rico during the San Juan International Billfish Tournament in September, 2011, travelled over 4,700 miles across the Atlantic in just 120 days.
