Cristian Gomez was born and raised in South Florida, where he developed a lifelong passion for the outdoors and spending time on the water with his family. He currently plays ice hockey and is a sophomore at the University of Miami, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science and Biology. Outside of his studies, Cristian enjoys reading, rollerblading, and fishing.

Cristian joined the IGFA in 2023 and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of anglers through education and responsible fishing practices. He is committed to helping expand the IGFA’s reach and impact, connecting more people around the world to the sport and the importance of conservation.
