Marketing Manager

Shelby Stephenson is the marketing manager for the IGFA. An accomplished communications and nonprofit professional with a passion for wildlife conservation, she has helped tell impactful conservation stories ranging from stranded sea turtles to bison births.

Prior to joining the IGFA, Shelby oversaw communications for the Johnny Morris Foundation in Springfield, Missouri, where she helped open Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium and executed strategies that resulted in worldwide media attention.  

Based remotely in Springfield, Missouri, Shelby grew up in the Ozark Mountains where she spent her days climbing trees and bass fishing with her dad on Table Rock Lake. When she isn’t thinking about science communications, she enjoys traveling, visiting museums and taking walks around the neighborhood with her Shiba Inus, Mochi and Ringo.
