Brock’s Inshore Grand Slam
Darrell Brock Jr. earned his first IGFA Inshore Grand Slam to be the very first of its kind. He was fishing inshore at Tropic Star Lodge, Panama, and landed a nice roosterfish on a bonito, followed by a Pacific cubera snapper and a bluefin trevally on poppers! That’s what I call a great day on the way and an Inshore Grand Slam done in style.
Triana’s Trophy Bonefish
Dennis Triana has earned plenty of fishing accolades in his lifetime including 112 IGFA World Records and a state record fish in all 50 states. On January 29th, Dennis added another to his name by catching this awesome 10-pound bonefish in Honolulu, Hawaii, to earn his second IGFA Trophy Bonefish. To make things better, it just happens to qualify for the Men’s 3-kg (6 lb) Line Class World Record, as well. If you couldn’t tell, Dennis was quite ecstatic to land his double-digit bone after an epic 20-minute battle.
