Gallagher’s Trout Royal Slam
IGFA Representative Kesley Gallagher recently submitted an IGFA Trout Royal Slam on fly. She landed a rainbow trout while fishing the Sacramento River in 2018, which started her journey. She was able to complete the Royal Slam on September 30, 2024, with a beautiful brown trout.
Kurz’s Billfish Grand Slam
On June 23, 2026, IGFA Trustee Bob Kurz had an incredible day fishing out of Kona, Hawaii, aboard the 2nd Offense with Captain Kevin Hibbard. Bob released a striped marlin, spearfish and Pacific blue marlin to earn himself an IGFA Billfish Grand Slam.
Patella's Inshore Grand Slam
On June 12, 2026, Ronald Patella had an incredible day of flats fishing in Biscayne Bay, Florida. He landed this impressive permit along with a tarpon and Atlantic bonefish to earn himself an IGFA Inshore Grand Slam!
