Smith’s Northern Pike Trophy Club

On June 17, 2014, Scott Smith was fishing Cree Lake in Saskatchewan, Canada, when he landed this 122-centimeter northern pike while casting a storm shad. With this fish, Scott has entered the IGFA Northern Pike Trophy Club. This is a reminder that there is no time limit to submit a Trophy Club fish!

To qualify for an IGFA Trophy Club, the fish must meet either the required length or weight; in this case, northern pike must weigh at least 11.3 kg (25 lb) or measure at least 114 cm (44.9 in). You can learn more about IGFA Trophy Clubs, including how to apply, by clicking here. 

 

 

 

Maritz’s Inshore Grand Slam

On July 2, 2026, Willie Maritz was fishing in Xcalak, Mexico, when he landed an Atlantic bonefish, a permit, and this impressive tarpon. With this fish, Willie has earned an IGFA Inshore Grand Slam on fly!
