Denton's Trophy Club Dorado
On October 10, 2023, Chase Denton was fishing in Itati, Argentina, when he landed this impressive 96-centimeter dorado, becoming the newest member of the IGFA Trophy Dorado Club. The fish crushed Chase’s lure and was landed after an intense fight. He then recorded the length on his official IGFA Measuring Device before releasing the fish safely.
Davis' Speckled Peacock
Wayne Davis was fishing the Curicuriari River in Brazil on October 15, 2023, when he landed this massive 11-kg (24-pound, 4-ounce) speckled peacock that measured out to 92 centimeters in length – easily qualifying Wayne for the IGFA Trophy Speckled Peacock Club. After recording the weight and length of the fish on the boat, Davis released the trophy peacock safely.
