Dr. David Kerstetter

Associate Professor in the Department of Marine and Environmental Sciences at Nova Southeastern University

Dr. David Kerstetter holds a Ph.D. in Fisheries Science from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and a Master of Public Policy from the College of William & Mary.  He and his graduate students have been working with coastal and pelagic marine fishes for over 25 years, with extensive experience in fisheries biology, electronic tagging of billfish and swordfish, and fisheries bycatch reduction technologies.  Dr. Kerstetter is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Marine and Environmental Sciences at Nova Southeastern University and serves on several NOAA constituent committees, including the Highly Migratory Species Advisory Panel.
