IGFA Tournament Relations Program

Starting in 2024, the IGFA Tournament Relations Program was launched to enhance IGFA’s partnerships and visibility in the international tournament fishing community, while offering additional benefits to participants and organizers. This program also aims to broaden IGFA’s platform for scientific research, including initiatives like the IGFA Great Marlin Race satellite tagging program for billfish. Participating tournaments receive IGFA Tournament Guide booklets, free IGFA digital memberships for each registrant, and complimentary IGFA merchandise.

IGFA Benefits through the Tournament Relations Program:

Official IGFA Tournament Rules Booklets – To be included in tournament bags as a reference tool for anglers. The number of booklets provided will match tournament participation. We will send you printed hard copies for your tournament.
IGFA Billfish Bucket Stickers – High-quality “bucket stickers” featuring a variety of billfish species. The number of stickers provided will match tournament participation.
FREE IGFA Digital Membership to Participants – All tournament participants (anglers, mates, captain) will receive a FREE IGFA Digital Membership for one year. This membership provides participants with exclusive discounts to top manufacturers (AFTCO, YETI, etc.), access to “members only” content on the IGFA website, and special offers for IGFA members only.
IGFA Logo - Use of the IGFA logo in tournament marketing materials. (IGFA name/logo cannot be incorporated into the name of the tournament)
Website Listing – Tournament logo and click-thru link listed on the IGFA website.
