Baptiste’s Offshore Grand Slam Club
Burdin Baptiste had an incredible day of offshore fishing with Peche Passion out of Golfito, Costa Rica, on December 29, 2023, when he landed a dolphinfish, yellowfin tuna, and released a Pacific sailfish to earn an IGFA Offshore Grand Slam. Congratulations, Burdin on an excellent day of fishing and an incredible accomplishment!
Stanier’s Trophy Bonefish Club
Philip Stanier was fishing Mangrove Cay, Andros in The Bahamas on October 6, 2023, when he landed this impressive 77-centimeter Atlantic bonefish to become the newest member of the IGFA Trophy Bonefish Club on Fly. Stanier was fishing with guide Steven Kiki Adderley when he caught this trophy bonefish and released the fish safely after snapping a few photos and a quick measurement. Congrats, Philip on an amazing fish!
Tropic Star Lodge Trophy Club Dolphinfish
The new year started off strong for guests down at the famed Tropic Star Lodge in Pinas Bay, Panama, with two new fish from the lodge recently added to the IGFA Trophy Dolphinfish Club. On January 3, 2024, IGFA Trustee Bob Kurz landed a 131-centimeter dolphinfish while fishing aboard the Island Star captained by Gavalan Cordaba. Larry Peardon joined the club just two days later with an impressive 26.37-kilogram (58-pound, 2-ounce) fish caught aboard the Lightspeed captained by Rob Ellyn. Congratulations to both anglers, a perfect way to start off the new year!
