Capozzi’s Inshore Grand Slam
On February 20, 2024, IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame Inductee and IGFA Italy Representative Enrico Capozzi landed a tarpon, bonefish, and snook to earn himself an IGFA Inshore Grand Slam on Fly. Enrico was fishing with his guide Evan Nacho Jr in Cozumel, Mexico when he landed the slam on a variety of custom hand-tied flies.
Baily’s Trophy White Seabass Club
On February 24, 2024, Chris Baily was fishing out of La Jolla, California, US, when he landed this massive 32.46-kilogram (71-pouind, 9-ounce) white seabass, becoming the newest member of the IGFA Trophy White Seabass Club. Chris was fishing aboard the Hawk captained by Pat Holmes when this trophy seabass struck his live mackerel. After boating the fish, Chris returned to port to record the weight on a certified scale. Congratulations, Chris, on an incredible accomplishment!
