Red Snapper Season Begins Tomorrow- Report Your Catches

The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council and the Snook and Gamefish Foundation partnered with Elemental Method to create, a website accesible from cell-phones while in cellular range. Data collection is critical to accurately assess the South Atlantic red snapper stock to ensure a healthy population. By reporting your catch, anglers have an opportunity to contribute to a future with better managed red-snapper angling opportunities.

All anglers have to do is go to, sign up for the program, and log their catches and log zero-catch trips if they occur. Anglers who want to fish but can't due to weather are also encouraged to create a log for the missed trip.
