Warren Klawans

Since the late 1960s, Warren Klawans of Ocean City, Maryland  has been a staple of the local fishing scene--regularly catching white marlin on six-pound-test test line with Captains Chip Shafer and Jim Garner. But one of Klawans’ most memorable accomplishments was catching 11 out of 13 sailfish hooked on two-pound test in Mexico, including three in one day. Klawans is a two-time winner of the Masters Invitational Tournament which he has fished for more than 30 years--earning his Diamond pin for having caught more than 175 fish from a dead  (not under power) boat.
